I love walking around my old stomping ground in Lower East Side Manhattan. This neighborhood has changed vastly from an old Jewish community to a mix of Chinese residents to new gentrification of hipsters. More of the change of neighborhoods has been north of Delancey Street. However the lower part of it with the exceptions of a few new restaurants and a cat cafe, some of the streets still has a bit of edge.
I came across a graffiti metal gate with a multi-colorful coi fish, which fits perfectly as a backdrop for my outfit. My ivory cashmere sweater from Nordstrom Collection I’ve designed, is my favorite go to sweater to stay cozy in this brisk weather.
The waffle stitch with rib trims adds detail and novelty. The voluminous shape and high turtle neck balances skinny engineer distressed Chanel high waist denim jeans. High waist are my go-to type of waistbands, as it holds everything in place and smoothes out any muffin tops. No more low waisted pants for me!
I’ve accessorized with my favorite Phillip Lim smooth leather cross body to walk around the city with. It’s light weight and small size fits all my essentials into one place. The grey leather color is my favorite neutral color and compliments with all my outfits. The ivory sunglasses from Quay adds the finishing touch to my ivory sweater.
