The July Issue: Caged Animal Print of STYLELOGUE has finally arrived! Feels like forever since our last June post, only to realize there were 5 weeks in June. Thanks for being so patient.

We’re excited to feature animal prints this month. Zebras, snakes, cheetahs and leopards are nothing new to the fashion world. However, fashion house’s were showing new reiterations of these classic prints on their runway Spring/Summer 2019 shows – see below photos.

We’re seeing the patterns spliced in large and small scale forms like the Ermanno Scervino dress and Adeam jumpsuit. Even printed in both shiny and matte materials colored in similar shades, as per Rochas knee length coat and dress. Oh and don’t forget shoes and accessories! They’re everywhere from designer to commercial brands.

The outfit I’m wearing takes the animal print up some notches. From coloring in levels of saturated teals to the sophisticated silhouette, this dress definitely will make head turns. My favorite part of the dress is the pleated skirt with slits showing some sexy legs. I work hard for them. Why not show them off!

I love a statement jacket and this thrifted teal blue leather jacket. It was the best find while I was looking for something to throw on dresses. The colors work so well together with the animal print. The crop length hits right at the waist, proportionally working back with the length of the dress.

This particular animal print is very “busy” to the eye. So I kept the accessories simple with black, white and with silver finishes. Let’s start with the black faux leather obi belt, that creates a waist shape and helps break up the print. The sandals, I’ve restyled here, were ideal understated shoes I needed to complete the look, whilst keeping the focus on the dress. I balanced the color palette with a bold white structure bag and silver hardware

I chose cat eye sunglasses, for the modern sleek shape in matte and shiny black. The finishing touch were the silver heart hoops, which are my absolutely favorite pair, when it comes to fun and flirty jewelry.

Excited to take this look for a fun dinner party with the ladies!

Mary takes on the animal print with slithering snake patterns in its natural state of colors; beige and brown. She wore the same patterns in a trench coat and slip on mules. A beige slip dress layered underneath the coat and the girl is ready for a night out!

Our favorite neutral-color-loving-blogger, Cortney strikes again! Wearing the colors of beiges to black, combining zebra and snake print patterns in her outfit. The elevated basic pieces certainly works along with the graphic zebra skirt. Adding chic black sunnies and a handbag were the perfect subtle touches to complete her look.

Having these animal print pieces in your closets can easily take you into the Fall season by layering them with a turtleneck, cozy cardigan, warm coat and tights. The options are endless and I can’t wait to restyle this dress again.

Speaking of restyle, we will be sharing videos of July Issue of CAGED ANIMAL PRINT with different ways of wearing these pieces. Make sure to follow Mary, Cortney and I to watch them all!

I LOVE these shots of you, E! And always love how you tie in the runway. Also, please take me vintage shopping in August when i have monies to spend — that jacket of yours is too good.
