Welcome to a new issue of Stylelogue: SUIT YOUR SELFIE!

Rolling into September, we are right in a transitional season, which can be an awkward time to figure what to wear. The feeling of when it’s still warm outside, and you’re craving for a pumpkin spice latte and sweater weather.

Not so fast.

As we live through another month of working from home, we find ourselves probably in our comfy sweats, sans make up and dishelved hair……rolling out of bed with another full day of zoom calls. By the end of the day feeling like a “zoombie” Am I right?

Well, what if we do get a chance to get back into the office someday? What would that even look like? How would that dynamic change with the way we dress?

This is how Stylelogue sees the future of dressing post-covid. Bright powerful colored suits that infinitely give you the strong exterior that makes you feel you can conquer anything. Who doesn’t want to look bad ass?

But if we’re wrong, humor us!

The ladies and I went on an afternoon visit to the Seattle Selfie Museum. We wanted to shoot on a location that was fun and really make the suits “pop”. TBH, who the hell in the right mind is wearing a damn suit right now?? (Well, besides my girl Kamala Harris). We wanted to make it humorous and create an imagery of escapism for our readers.

Let me tell you! We had a blast taking selfies and OBSESSED how’ these photos turned out. If you’re in Seattle, give them a visit. It won’t disappoint!

My Derek Lam 10 Crosby pantsuit was rented from Armoire, a subscription rental service based in Seattle. Traditionally I would buy a suit in neutral colors. So for the sake of trying such a loud shade of blue, I decided to rent instead. The suit fits like a glove, made in the most comfiest cotton stretch. What I love the most is the bold color and stripe trim detail. I’m seriously feeling like a boss!

Mary’s suit is spot on in both color and the soft structure it provides in comfort. The jacket is double breasted with giving an oversize look and ease paired back with slim flat front wide leg crop pant. It’s bold and beautiful!

Who doesn’t love an all white suit? And especially the Bermuda shorts! It’s crisp and clean, perfect for those transitional summer to fall seasons. Cortney wears it well and pairs it back to modern neutral accessories.
