three women walking on the streets of Seattle

In just four months of launching STYLELOGUE, we had our first event hosting a Galentine’s Day brunch at the Palihotel in Seattle. In honor of the most romantic day, of the year, it’s the perfect time to recap on how it all went down……..

When we first created STYLELOGUE, the objective was to keep an ongoing dialogue in fashion with our audience and community. When we came up with the idea of hosting our first event, we wanted to include EVERYTHING local. From the scene, goodie bags and guests, we wanted to bring all of our favorite pieces of Seattle together.

We first reached out to Palihotel, a newly opened boutique hotel located in downtown Seattle, generously offered their space and provided delicious brunch food from their resident restaurant, The Hart and The Hunter.

When the guests arrived, they were greeted with virgin mimosas that were both delicious too pretty to drink. I don’t drink alcohol (not by choice), so it was the perfect mock-tail.

While sipping on their drinks, our host from Palihotel took the ladies on a tour of the hotel rooms and amenities. From the lobby to the rooms, the classic and contemporary decor of rich colors in deep hunter and monochromatic shades of green, paying homage to PNW sensibility. I can’t wait to spend a staycation there one of these days.

The menu included their most delicious family-style dishes with Southern influence. Those buttery biscuits (see above photo) with pimento cheese, maple butter and jam alone is worth a visit. Other sharable plates were mini avocado toast, eggs benie, coconut almost french toast and mini mushroom tartine. BURP! I need to return ASAP and try the rest of the menu!

Keeping to the idea of local, for a gift bag takeaway, we’ve partnered with our favorite small businesses. We wanted to share the idea of supporting our community, which was important to us.

The ladies whom we known since the beginning of our blogging days, and some we’ve only known through social media, all loved the idea of getting us together. They voted the idea to continue the dialogue of fashion through future events. We were excited to hear their positive feedback and the great time they had. ‘Til the next event!

All in all, it was a successful day with much love and support from everyone who participated on our first STYLELOGUE event.

To our local partners thank you for all the goodies!

The lovely blogger friends, thank you for your gracious presence.

Extra special thanks to the #palihotelseattle team who helped make this successful!

Of course, to our team, the three stooges….Mary, Cortney and myself, who hustled to get it all done in just short few weeks, while laughing and giggling. We kicked ASS! This is an amazing team and I’m excited to see what else we have in our sleeves! Stay tuned!
