Overalls remind me of times when I was a kid, my mother would used to dress me in them and they always had tacky floral patterns or made in corduroy fabric. They were probably hand-me-downs from my older sister and came in different variations such as pants, skirts and dresses.
Fashion trend always comes back with new versions including overalls, which are definitely a fun piece to have in your closet for a bit of nostalgia. I am wearing a Zara denim overall skinny leg with enzyme wash and place hand sanding to create a unique look. The best part about it is that it’s a kid size 14, which means I paid kid’s price for these pair of overalls. I also love the fitted silhouette with a bit of stretch to hold its shape. I layered it over with a pin stripe shirt from Caslon, a Nordstrom private label brand. A mix of work and play is always a fun way to dress on a friday.
The third piece is a staple wool coat from T by Alexander Wang. This timeless coat is light weight, while providing warmth at the same time. The leather details under the collar and inner pocket gives a causal edge. Navy color is one of my favorite neutral color and a great alternative to boring black. The color always goes back to denim.
It was also a rare sunny day in Seattle today, and it was the perfect time to put on these Quay rose gold sunnies. The oversize reflective lenses and feminine color, makes the classic aviator cool over and over again. Again I’m reusing my tall suede ankle boots from Alberto Fermani and Celine calfskin tote. These well made accessories are my daily go-to pieces for this Fall.
