Fall In Love with Weddings Fall In Love With Weddings I was honored to attend a beautiful fall wedding, of our friends Leigh and Sean, this past weekend. There were laughter and some tear jerking moments, which I’m guilty of. Secretly, I think my husband and I just love going to weddings, because every time we hear the vows, we look at each other to reassure our love. (I know it’s cheesy, but it’s true!) I was looking through my closet hoping to find something fall appropriate to wear, as most of my dressier pieces are for the summer seasons. So I came upon this printed floral romper (full body piece that’s made with shorts) from Topshop .It has beautiful long sheer blouson sleeves and an open keyhole at the front. Keeping it romantic without being overtly sexy. The camel wool trench style coat from Max and Co. has been part of my wardrobe for more than 10 years and it still looks new. It was quite expensive for my budget back then, but I’m glad I purchased it and kept it until this day, because a classic piece in a neutral color never runs out of style. I accessorized it with the Tri-color Celine clutch in camel/pink/burgundy combo. The leather is soft and zippper compartments let me fit my phone, lipstick and more. The lamb leather knee length boots from Sigerson & Morrison has corset detailing on the back. The length of the boots balances the shortness of the romper. I’ve also had these boots for awhile and I was lucky to have saved them from the treacherous fashion trend demon, who tells us “what’s in, what’s out”! Treat your nice pieces well by taking care of the wear and you will reap rewards. Tip: Invest in well made classic pieces. You will only need to buy one, not many. This blog represents that; quality over quantity. Reply Leave a Comment Cancel Reply This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed.
