I asked her “Why did you pick this outfit?”. She replies, ‘Because it has the sparkles. I love sparkly things!’ Sometimes you just have to think like a kid and see how they see the world to make any sense. The “sparkly” thing Kinsley was referring to is the t-shirt I had personalized “#EFORELISA” from Bow and Drape’s pop-up shop, located at Nordstrom’s downtown Seattle store. I wanted something to represent my new venture of fashion blogging and “#EFORELISA”, was the obvious tag. You can get yours personalized, with choices of sweatshirts, tees, pouches, pillows and many more. Just purchase the item and you get unlimited sparkly appliqués. (Definition: Applique is a decorative patch that either can be iron or stitched on to create a novelty pattern on a garment.) I wore the t-shirt back with a pair Crop Flare Leather Pants from Oliva Palermo + Chelsea28. The best thing yet, it’s currently on sale! I own a couple of leather leggings, but the crop flare leg gives the leather pant a fresh new edge. This leg shape in a leather material maybe a bit forward and pricey. Try it with denim to see how you like the silhouette to achieve a similar look. The crop length pairs well with my new purchased Marni “sabot” Slide Loafer. It also looks fantastic with a pair of strappy heels or sneakers. Bow and Drape’s pop-up shop will be available only until 1st week of January. Make it original and personal with your own tagline. It’s like a tattoo you can interchange. Now go get PERSONALIZED!
