I’ve been playing with color on a recent blog post. However, I realize color may not be for everyone. So how do you up your outfit or photo game, if you’re not into color? Some easy solutions to bring tons of vibrance to your photos, try by adding the following:
A bag, shoes or jewelry pops any neutral outfit and instantly brings it to life. This tote bag from Celine in the brightest orange/fuschia color block is the perfect bag for all of my stuff. I used it for my recent summer travels, since it’s light weight and roomy enough for my laptop/wallet/passport.
A bright lip makes a huge difference in any part of my day. I put on my signature rouge, a color from Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil “Let’s Go Crazy”, to give this outfit some vibrance….a little life. Normally, I don’t wear tons of make up, nor barely any foundation unless it’s a special occasion. So a fun lip color goes a long way, in my books!
Carry the freshest and brightest flowers as arm candy. BAM! Not only does it change the color situation, it smells amazing. Living in the PNW, we have access to flowers and plants easily, to freshen up the house/office. I buy mine once a week, just to add some life to our space.
Find the brightest wall in the city. DONE! Takes time to find that perfect wall. You can find some cool ones here from Seattle.
An improv with anything around you. Such as these yellow rental bikes you annoyingly find in every street of Seattle. The bike wasn’t working, since I didn’t have the app to unlock it. Doesn’t it just fit right into the photos!? It can be a chair, table, statue, car, you get the idea. As long as it adds color to your photos, anything works.
Choose the most neutral color pieces, so everything else pops. The sweater hoodie is in a light pink, matching perfectly to the top with pink and white stripe. I wore white cropped wide leg pants to keep it casual and light. Of course, adding more pink to these kicks, neutralizes the outfit.
Now go on! Have fun and add some color to your life!
