ALL CHECKED OUT: A DRAMATIC GINGHAM DRESS GINGHAM DRESS Before you get all checked out for summer, get a load of this outfit! A gingham pattern is the quintessential classic summer print. Perhaps it reminds me and everybody’s else of picnic tablecloths. That’s if you’re FANCY, like that! This check pattern has been running strong especially for this season. I’ve seen it in tons of different scales and colors. In tops, bottoms and of course in dresses. I’m crazy about it in this dress. Put a gingham in dramatic ruffles in combination with a modern silhouette makes it “new” again. The off the shoulder plus the dramatic ruffles are more than reason to love this piece. Showing a bit of clavicle is one of the most sexiest part of a women’s body. Don’t you agree? Submissive but enough to show a bit of sex appeal. You can even throw a pair of white jeans when the weather gets colder. Put on a pair of heels and it’s the perfect combo for a night out! See below for some cute options I’ve found for you. Some are even on sale. Get it while its hot! ACCESSORIES THAT COMPLETE To complete this ultra classic summer look, I added a boater straw hat and my go to ballet espadrilles I bought on my last trip to Florence, Italy. Perfect neutral touches to balance all the drama from the dress. Don’t laugh, but this outfit makes me really want to row a boat, in the middle of central park listening to birds chirp, (especially with the hat). The last time I did that was when I was eight years old. Need to find that pic! Enjoy the last week of summer you guys! Xx, E.
