Welcome to the final volume of Fall Trend Series: STRIPE TEXTURE SWEATER!

So I’ve basically saved the best for last, because you know, sweater is my thang. My love. My passion! It’s easiest article of clothing to layer when it comes to cold temps. They come in different weights from light to chunky, textures, silhouettes and patterns. The styling options are endless!

STRIPE TEXTURE SWEATER ON THE RUNWAY

As I study all the Fall runway shows, I saw a trend in stripe sweaters. This time around, texture stitches are added to create high level effects to add more novelty interest. See below for runway references.

Ulla Johnson, the leader of all things cool girl, sent the models down her show with some of my favorite pieces. The use of multi color in fancy stitches, while keeping the shapes simple and easy. Let the sweaters speak for itself! Bravo Ulla!

HEAD TO TOE MUTED TONES

The stripe texture sweater is from Nordstrom Signature, a piece I designed. I love the easy shape and soft hand feel. The pattern is striped in a space dye and a solid tape yarn, knitted in a heavier stitch. Tape yarn was used to create a chunky knit without the heavy weight, because of the hollow spinning method of the yarn. I’m a genius, huh?!

I tucked it in a pair of sage green boot leg trousers (similar) and threw a rust color brushed cashmere cardigan (similar) over it for added colors and layering. These beautiful dusty colors harmoniously working together is giving me major Fall vibes!

Time to accessorize! Never go wrong with Chanel, especially this quilted camera bag (similar) that you’ve seen me style several times. I love the dusty pink that compliments the color palette of the outfit.

Staying classy with pearls! I bought this pink pearl headband from Amazon and really love the drama. Every time I wear it, I feel like a queen!

The double strand chain pearl necklace (similar) I’ve had for some time and finally found the right moment to wear it. Really turnt it up this time with the accessories, but you know me, I don’t do boring!

Mint green boots (similar) are from a blogger sale I’ve worn and styled before on this post. It’s an interesting color that I don’t wear often, but I feel in love with the lucite heel and just had to have it.
