Full-time designer, mom and wife by day, fashion blogger by night. The blogging part does take a lot of time, but I have to say I LOVE IT! It certainly keeps me busy. Luckily, I get myself wired with the right tech and gadgets to help make my blog life a whole lot easier. Check out all the fun tech I love to use!
iPhone 7 plus: Most of my photos are taken with my phone. Only the 7 plus has the wide angle and telephoto camera that allows me to take photos with depth of field using the portrait feature. It’s my saving grace when I need a quick #ootd (outfit of the day) snapshot. I can’t wait for the iPhone 8!
Shure SE215: These noise cancellation earphones have some of the best sound quality in the market. I use these on my way to work or listening to podcasts on my marathon training. It shuts out the surrounding noise and zones you out. The higher quality models are more expensive, but this model certainly does the job for me! I’ve been using them for the last two years and I can’t recommend anything better.
Osmo DJI: I bought this new toy last month to make home videos and perhaps start the idea of vlogging. Have you ever try shooting a video with your smartphone and it’s always shaky or blurry? Well, this handheld gadget lets you strap on your smartphone for video display, while you shoot seamlessly. It’s a useful feature especially for chasing Kinsley around during her soccer games. I can’t wait to see what else it can do.
MacBook Pro: The holy grail! I can’t write my blog without this machine. Believe it or not, I’ve been using PC’s for most of my career and being a creative, Macs are the recommended product to use. I’ve been using Apple products since the iphone came to the market and love their IOS program. It’s so easy to use and when I finally needed a laptop, it was a no brainer to get the best laptop for my blog work. It weighs like almost nothing and the retina display is magical!
Sonos Play:5: I’m not going to lie. I’m not much of a tech person. So this purchase was Peter’s idea. I really didn’t want to spend the money on giant “gaudy” speakers. But I have to admit the sound coming out from these things are amazing. I like to put my jam on while I’m cooking or writing my blog.
Affinity Photo: This user-friendly software helps edit photos easily without having to going to photography school. Yes it’s that easy! It’s great for cleaning up photos, lighting and color adjustments and fixing backgrounds. It’s one price of $49.99 (or $19.99 for iPad) without any annual subscription. The app is available for iPad, Mac and Windows.
