The winter months are coming and I don’t remember Seattle being this cold last year, but I can feel it in the air (or the weather people says) that it’ll be a cold cold winter, which means it’s time to suit up your armor, in this case a winter coat.
The coat I’m wearing is from Hayden-Harnett made in the finest wool angora blend, qualities of a warm piece of clothing. The oversize silhouette is big enough to layer over a chunky sweater. The buttons closes up into a mock neck trapping in the warm air. It’s also my travel coat for cold climate conditions, such as the February month visits to NYC visiting my family. Those that been there during that month knows what I’m talking about when it comes to frigid cold. I’ve had this coat for almost six years and it’s one of the best investments I’ve ever made (paid $350 on sale, original retail $650). Currently, I’m in a hunt for a new black coat, while still trying to squeeze more mileage on it until I find my new love. Stay tuned!
I layered my coat over a leather shirt, giving a bit of an edge and paired it with skinny camo jeans from Two by Vince Camuto. The knitted Ivy Park beanie is my favorite piece of accessory, especially when I purchased it back in April for a Beyoncé concert. Maximizing usage!
Tip: See a deal and don’t think twice, especially when it comes to a staple classic third piece.
Keep toasty everyone and thanks for reading!
